Ford IDS/FDRS Introduction

Thinking about purchasing the Ford VCM3 and don’t know what you need to get started. Here is a flyer about what kind of laptop you need and licenses purchase information to get started. You can use other VCM’s like the J2534 and purchase that version software to use in your shop.

Some of you shops/fleets are aware by now that the IDS software is being replaced with the FDRS software. The IDS software is not going away anytime soon but the new software is out now.
